The Coat of Pride Project

Hello everybody!

I am Jeremias, an illustrator and big-time nerd for everything mythical and prehistoric!

What is it about?

Over a year ago I started making queer-themed art and merchandise, first just for myself and the people around me, friends and family alike, but as my ambition grew, so did my products. Starting from stickers, it developed into patches, and so it occurred that one fateful night I sat together with a friend of mine over a Discord chat, and in our sleep-deprived stupor we came up with an idea:

A collection of pins, but not regular enamel pins. Something fun, yet unique, which carried a message of pride, resilience and community: Thus we came up with the "Coat of Pride"! We want to turn these into wearable, stylish attire for this year's Pride Month!

How does it work?

Support the funding of the project through kickstarter and get a collection of 15 designs inspired by medieval representation of families, houses and lordships, known as coat of arms.

But to do so, we need your help, as we plan to launch our very own Kickstarter campaign to finance production!

1.  preorder and get freebies

2.  support kickstarter

3.  get unique enamel pins

How are the pins produced?

It was very important to me to find a manufacturer that focuses on fair wages and a good quality.  With these pins you get:

-  pins manufactured locally within Europe

-  higher quality product

-  fair wages and a more ethical production process

The manufacturer has shown incredible results with the first batches of test pins, as shown here with the siren pin:

What do the pins look like?

Through the kickstarter you can get 15 different enamel pins.

Funding Goals and additional pins

Due to local manufacturers, production costs are higher than, for example, factory-made pins from Asia, but I believe it is well worth its money. Making pins is a labor-intensive process, with each color still being poured by hand, and the people who are responsible for the actual creation of these pins should earn a proper living and have safe and regulated work environments.

Our current starting goal is 4000€ (~4690$).

Every cent (except Kickstarter's share and payment processing cost) will entirely go into the production cost of the first 5 pin designs.

More pins will become possible should we achieve our initial goal, with stretch goals set up to meet the necessary funding for more designs. The current designs I would love to see come true are:

So if you want to see this project come true and wish to be the happy owner of one of these honorable pride pins, please consider joining my e-mail list. I won't spam you with useless noise, I will only contact you through your e-mail when I am launching the campaign and send you my greatest of graditudes should we fund our goal. But there is more for you!

The Reward

By signing up to my e-mail list and supporting the Kickstarter you will receive an EXCLUSIVE STICKER SET completely FREE of charge as a sign of gratitude for sticking with us even before the campaign had begun. This set can only be obtained by joining the e-mail list and supporting the successful campaign.

- 15 stickers hand drawn

-  high quality glossy print

- 15 queer identities

They are all hand drawn with love, each of them a sticker counterpart to their respective coat of arms, and printed on glossy high-quality sticker paper. They are sensitive to direct sunlight though, and I would not recommend drowning them in water as they most likely can't survive that either...trust me, I tried...

What is Kickstarter and how does it work?

Kickstarter is a crowdfunding platform that helps people realize their projects and fund them with the help of supporters.
Each project has a funding goal that they try to reach so they may be able to print, produce or create a certain product or work of art to give to the ones who help fund their endeavor.
People can pledge a certain chosen amount to these projects if they find them worth supporting during a 30-day period. Pledged money will only be taken once a funding goal has been reached, reducing any sort of risk for both sides, supporter and creator.

If you made it until here, I thank you so very much for your time and love.

Please consider signing up to our e-mail list and I truly hope to see you during the campaign!

Take care of each other, love thyself and Happy Pride 2026 no matter where you are!!

I am confident in my ability to create and deliver, having  produced a variety of products over the years, ranging from simple stickers to complex embroidery patches and print designs. On top of that, I have been running an online store with over 1500 sales over the last year.
